Amoah Sarfo Kwarteng and Umar Farouk Were Elected as UPSA SRC President and Vice President

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Amoah Sarfo Kwarteng, former Vice President of Traingh and current Campus Coordinator, has been elected as the UPSA SRC President, with Umar Farouk as his running mate. The two emerged as winners of the highly contested elections, thanks to their Abandindin campaign theme, which resonated with the student electorate.
The elections, which were held on March 31, 2023, saw Kwarteng and Farouk’s campaign message strike a chord with the student body. The Abandindin theme, which translates to “fortress” in the Akan language, emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in building a strong and resilient community. The message was not only culturally significant, as it reflected the values and traditions of the Ghanaian people, but also a powerful message of leadership and community development.
Kwarteng and Farouk’s victory is a testament to their leadership qualities and their dedication to serving their community. As former Vice President of Traingh and current Campus Coordinator, Kwarteng has demonstrated his commitment to education and youth development. He has played an integral role in shaping the Traingh community, and we are confident that he will continue to make a positive impact as the UPSA SRC President.
We would like to congratulate Kwarteng and Farouk on their well-deserved victory and wish them all the best as they take on this new leadership role. We are proud to have had Kwarteng as part of the Traingh community and look forward to seeing the great things he will achieve as the UPSA SRC President.
